Barbara Dalton Russell co-founded Juice as an advisor, investor and board member of technology and tech-enabled companies, focused on the AI, ML, and blockchain.
Prior to Juice, Ms. Russell was MD/Investment Banking at Detwiler Fenton, co-founder of: the Social Internet Fund (2011) with Lou Kerner; Bold Cap, a woman-focused venture fund, with Kay Koplovitz, Heide Miller & Barbara Cochran. Prior to this, Ms. Russell was MD&Group Head of the Media, Entertainment, New Media investment banking group at CIBC Oppenheimer, where she raised significant amounts of capital and provided advice to tech, media, & digital companies.
Ms. Russell is a mentor, judge, and/or investor in several accelerator & angel investment groups, including: TechStars; MIT100K Challenge; LearnLaunch; Harvard i-Lab; NYS Business Plan Competition; Rice University Bus.Plan Comp; MIT Alumni Angels of Boston; and NFTE. She is a lecturer at MIT and Babson WIN Lab. She received her MBA from the Sloan School at MIT and a BA in Economics from Boston University. She serves on several private and not-for-profit company boards, including: Advoqt, Acquinas, Green Piñata, Enbiome, Schola, and Magpie.
